Vellore to be a Smart City - TN shortlists 12 enterprises for savvy city

After a round of assessment of the Urban Local Bodies (ULBs) in the State, the administration has settled all the 12 organizations for the brilliant city challenge at the national level.

At first, more than 30 city partnerships, aside from the 12 companies, were in the challenge at the intra-State level rivalry. In this starting stage, the determination was by method for offering imprints to the current administration levels and setting up a score card.

In the first place paradigm

The increment in development of sterile restrooms constructed under Swachh Bharat Mission was the first foundation. Water supply, e-bulletins, online grievance redressal framework, institutional frameworks, limits, cooperation with inhabitants at the ward level, review of records, expense income were among the components were considered, say authorities of Commissionerate of Municipal Administration (CMA).
